Building in Lewisburg
A lot of Lewisburg homes were built well the first time. Those are worth remodeling rather than replacing.
We operate from Gratis, and Lewisburg is one of the places we are working most consistently. A crew that is not spending hours in a truck starts earlier and stays later, which shows up in the schedule.
We are a family business. The person who quotes your job is on the site while it is being built.
Our process is identical wherever we work. Scope and drawings come first, then excavation, then structure, then finish work.
If the timeline matters, say so early. Lewisburg permitting has its own pace.

What building here involves
There is a clear divide between pre-1970 housing with good structure and dated systems, and newer stock with current systems and compromised finishes.
Freeze-thaw is the local enemy. Any joint that holds water will eventually fail, which is why drainage and flashing get more attention than they might elsewhere.
Submissions, revisions and inspection scheduling all sit with us. Local familiarity here is worth more than it sounds.
Nearby work gets better service, simply because the crew is not spending a quarter of its day in a truck.

The scope we issue is deliberately detailed: what we are doing, what we are not doing, what we suspect is behind the drywall, and the written process for any change. Vagueness early is expensive later.
We schedule in stages and tell you which ones are weather-dependent, which wait on an inspector, and which depend on a product arriving. That is most of where delay comes from.

If something goes sideways we tell you that day. Waiting rarely makes a construction problem cheaper.
Completion means walking the finished work side by side, noting anything that is not right, and correcting it. We do not declare a job done from the office.

Lewisburg questions
What area do you cover?
We work a seventy-mile radius from Gratis, Ohio, which covers Montgomery, Greene, Warren, Butler, Preble and Miami counties.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We carry the coverage required for residential construction in Ohio and can provide certificates before work begins.
What warranty comes with a standing seam metal roof?
The standing seam metal we install carries a forty-year warranty. Dimensional shingles carry a thirty-year warranty.
Who is actually on site during my build?
Our own crew handles the core work. Samuel is on site through the build, not just at the start and the end.
How do you handle changes once we have started?
Changes get written down, priced and approved before they happen. Nothing gets built off a hallway conversation.
Can you remodel an older home, or only build new?
Both. A good share of our work is remodeling houses that were built well and are worth keeping.
Do you give a written scope before work starts?
Always. It states what is included, what is excluded, what we expect to find once things are opened up, and how a change gets priced and approved. A one-page quote is how disputes start.
Building in Lewisburg?
Every Lewisburg project starts the same way: understand the house, then draw it, then build it.
